The Lake Park 18 Hole.
This is another pretty course on the shores of Lake Lewisville.
However, it is not nearly as difficult as the Lake Lewisville courses on the Colony side of the Lake.
They have a new pricing structure out here, $35 for everything.
Kid are free after 2pm.
We got on at 2:30 and unfortunately could not get 18 holes in due to daylight savings time.

Lake Park is a course that can be played by players of all levels.
The holes are all straight and wide, no dog legs or lost balls.
However you will find a golfer from the neighboring hole on your fairway.

There are bunkers and water hazards but they don't factor into the play of any of the holes.
They are just there for the aesthetic value.

If you can hit it long and straight this is the course for you.

Indian Creek Golf Course in Carrollton TX

Indian Creek is a great public course in near by Carrollton TX.
The course is just off of I-35 but still maintains great scenery and ample water hazards thanks to the Trinity river.
Indian Creek opened in 1984, but is still in Great shape.
The course features a Traditional appearance, tighter layouts, and bermuda greens.
There are 2 courses of differing price and skill levels.
The maintenance of this public course is on par with neighboring county clubs.

The Tribute Golf Course in The Colony

The Colony may seem like a strange place for a world class golf course.
But the shore of lake lewisville are the ideal setting for a Scottish links style course.

Lake Park Executive Nine

Don't get me wrong, I love the nine hole.
Maybe it's not in the best shape...But it's Cheap and Fun.
But a quick word to the wise, If you wan tot golf the executive nine on Monday nights get there before 5:30pm.
Monday nights there is about 50 kids between 8 -12 yrs that do some sort of weekly golf competition.
What a nightmare.
Make sure you get a tee time here before you show.
